Once fully cured Milliput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted.Īs well as Milliput Superfine White, there are five other grades available: Standard (cures to a dark yellow), Terracotta, Silver Grey, Black and Turquoise Blue. It cures underwater, is heat-resistant to 130☌ and can be smoothed with water. The cure speed can be accelerated with the use of heat. Milliput hardens in three to four hours depending on room temperature, offering plenty of time to work with the putty. Whilst soft, it can be shaped, moulded, sculpted and formed. The two parts are mixed together in equal quantities, sparking a chemical reaction which turns the soft putty into a rock-hard substance. Milliput comes as a two-part, cold setting, non shrinking epoxy putty in cartons containing one 56.7gm stick of resin and one 56.7gm of hardener.

It can be used sculpting, modelling and the repair of white domestic chinaware. Milliput Superfine White has been formulated for the restoration of porcelain and other ceramics and the repair of antiques, objects d’art, Victorian dolls, picture mouldings and other pieces of art which require a fine finish.
